I have no idea on that one. They do seem to be handling him with kid gloves. Maybe they are hoping to keep him off his guard while they try to locate all of his assets.

I think we are going to find out that accounting/auditing company is a key player in all of this. As you may recall, a company here in Los Angeles named Axium imploded in an enron like cloud of fraud.

Axium got their funding from Golden Tree. Golden Tree was suing the two principles of Axium, John Visconti and Ron Garber, but since the IRS is going after those two for $100M, Golden Tree decided to sue the sarbanes oxley auditing/accounting firm for $120M.

Wanna guess what or should I say "who" Axium and Madoff have in common?
