I don't think you understood what I said. Proper food handling means you COOK it at home to the temperature to kill things- it doesn't mean you rely on other people, because other people often suck.

I really don't get why you'd argue with me about proper food handling AND put up such a weird story- a story which is evidence of improper food handling. Were you making some other point? Because it's quite clear from this story that somehow proper food handling procedures broke down here. Peanuts are roasted before making them in to butter- that would kill pathogens- so the bacteria was introduced post- roasting. Ergo- some improper food handling in there somehow, that introduced a bacteria that comes from fecal matter.

Can you see the irony in (apparently) arguing with me about food handling leading to less worries, with an article about illness caused by improper food handling? I hope so.
