Interesting - thinking back, stuff like Twinkies and Count Chocula cereal comes to mind. The rest was a lot of the same staple junk food brands we have today, Cheetos and Chips Ahoy and the like.

I suppose that compared to today, it was just a mild chemical dose. Nowadays I don't buy anything that doesn't appear to have a good deal of real food content. Though since I don't have allergies I can afford to absorb a certain amount of nasty stuff.
