Because all Democrats have to do is ostracize any minority person who "jumps" to the other side.

They don't have to do a damn thing to help blacks, for example, reverse the high school drop-out rate in California. Why bother with tough love solutions when blacks will still vote (D)? Just keep trying the same failed liberal education policies over and over, hoping for a different result every time.
