>>"...and dmm is so hugely undervalued"

Well I agree. I wouldn't be surprised if its market cap is lower than LSG's even though its resources may be higher. Perhaps if I was as familiar with Central America as you are I might feel differently. But LSG is my DMM in Canada. As per my profile, I feel better about les mines Canadiens

LSG's market cap reflects market financings at prices higher than current prices, I believe. Since Holmer days, the money has been spent on successful drilling and development in Timmins... so I hope its reasonable to believe that it has been money well spent. If so the higher market cap is vindicated.

Looking further at DMM, there is one aspect in which DMM is not "undervalued", and that is in the relationship between the book value(s) and the market price.

Both DMM and LSG have about the same total book value of ~$1.40 per share. However there is a wide disparity between the book values ascribed to Zaruma and that ascribed to Timmins West. I presume this indicates how much money has been actually spent on each property, but it raises some doubt in my mind as to whether the market price of DMM is "undervalued".

What's wrong with New Gold? It's my biggest holding by far and it's up 75% for me. Moves right on up as gold moves--on average about a penny for every dollar in the price of gold.
