It is a war zone, fool. That family was being harassed out of their home. Their rights trampled. Those soldiers could have setup observation posts just in the yard below the house. They were taking the house over, restricting the owner's movements, keeping them locked in their rooms, keeping the men from coming home...repeatedly.
