.2 lbs heavier than you at 223.5. I'm also stuck. I have been trying to cheat and lose but it doesn't work. Time to bear down for the next 10 lbs. I had an unimaginable Thai Massage this afternoon from a local woman sadist. <g> I never realized that I could become a pretzel but today it happened. Thai massage is a very unique experience.

Here are some of the moves and postures.

I believe on Atkins if you stall out you should go back to induction for a week or two to get it going again. 20 carbs a day.

221.8 BMI of 28.1. Down 1.5 lbs from last week. I have finally broken the 222 line. My previous low was 221.3, last Dec 29th. So I bounced around for over a month. Hopefully, I can break the 220 barrier by the 17th.

I have added an omelette with a couple of slices of Spam, [good island boy that I am] along with curried mix veggies, to my diet. I add a 2 lb package of frozen peas and carrots and a head of cauliflower to a curry sauce of olive oil, chopped onion, curry and turmeric powder. Makes about 1/2 gallon for the fridge.

So I am, as the Brits would say, "Banting." After that Brit undertaker who wrote the first diet book back in the 1850s. No starches or sweets. Splenda instead of sugar; no wheat, corn, potatoes or rice. Veggies and a small amount of meat. Including oatmeal, barley and beans. No fruit except strawberries for my skim milk smoothies made with protein powder. Arnold Palmer sweet tea.

I really like my new way of making an omelette. Swirl three beaten eggs with a little water in a sprayed medium pan over #4 heat. Then swirl again when half-way done to give it a brown edge. Keep it covered while cooking so that the inside firms up before the bottom gets too brown. Sprinkle shredded cheese inside, then fold over and let set. Serve with no-sugar-added salsa as a topping.
