Israel is the one with the power, especially to slaughter Palestinians by the hundreds, so naturally the international press will focus on them as the aggressors.

No outrage for Hamas who goads Israel into attacking. Makes no sense militarily, but it makes all the sense in the world when you're trying to put on a bloody show.


I don't see this partiality you seem to be so sensitive about. The tone I have seen is one in which Israel is condemned not for responding, but responding disproportionally. This is equally counterproductive to Hamas' actions, since is neither achieves the security Israel wishes, nor the moral high ground from which to secure a positive outcome.

Actually Al, I think there are very few people who can see both sides of the issue, even those who are in the know and have written books on the subject. I admit that I'm biased toward Israel for several reasons.

I was on the side of Israel until I read the history of the region. There are many strong reasons why I changed my vote.
