I think it may be too late. I think he may be able to turn things for the US in the Arab/Muslim world but I think Israel has gone too far. You saw the hatred of the Israeli settler......if she was willing to talk like that on American tv, imagine how the Israeli settlers treat the Palestinians every day. Israel has pulled out of settlements, even using force against Israeli settlers to get them to leave. What happened? The areas where the settlers used to live are now areas for Hamas to launch rocket attacks from. I agree that Israel will need to dismantle settlements, but reasonably they aren't going to do so when the response to doing so is more attacks.
