Settlements are in west bank, not gaza. PA runs WB, not hamas. Its risky but maybe worth the risk. I cant imagine PA launching rockets, inviting a gaza response. On second thought i can imagine it, but it is unlikely. On third thought some other radical pal group or hamas itself might try it. I rhink obama gravitas is key. He has affection now, but will it become gravitas or will he waste political capital here and abroad like last presidude.

Israel has pulled out of settlements, even using force against Israeli settlers to get them to leave. What happened? The areas where the settlers used to live are now areas for Hamas to launch rocket attacks from.

Palestinians want their freedom. I don't understand why you have such a hard time getting that.
