Have you seen how they were perceived as Alfa Male and then become like pussycats. Needy and Clinging.

These are surely not pole climbing material I can tell you!

US$30 a day?!! [NZ$60] <they will learn to eat on $200/week, > Do you mean for the whole family? They would have to have a large family to eat that much. Rice is only NZ$2 a kilogram even after the big rise of 2008. Potatoes are so cheap I don't even know how much they are. Lettuce NZ$2 each. Bananas only NZ$2 a kilogram. Onions a few dollars a sack. Carrots are not free but near enough. Corn is NZ60c each and they are great right now. Speaking of which, I shall go and get some more shortly. Long green beans too are in season and only $2 for 500 grams or so.

Snapper is a luxury I admit and costs NZ$33 a kilogram. But salmon at NZ$23 a kilogram is nice enough. Eggs are only NZ$3 a dozen. Milk powder NZ$10 a kilogram [for full fat - none of that skimmed stuff for me]. Beef is NZ$15 a kilogram for cheaper chunks and sometimes on special at NZ$10 for rump steak.
