The problem with HP is they're made to be sold cheap. It doesn't matter whether you get AMD or INTC chips; these machines are built to compete with eMachines anymore.

I have an HP laptop I bought a few years ago and it is great, rock solid. They've definitely taken a turn for the worse in the consumer markets.

He actually said thAt if you buy AMD you get a really lousy board. Forget what brand be said. He actually had a display of failed ones on his wall I assume as a sAles tool to get people to step up to intel

So he's saying its the motherboard that's the problem?
