I'm pretty sure it was only one study, and that study appears to be faulty. I gave you one; CJ gave you another. There was nothing faulty with either study. Also, as you quoted yourself, the statement was about suicide and murder rates, and homelessness, not just suicide. For murder rates in particular the evidence is that its the opposite, that rates of murder by (or I think of, but I don't have hard data on that) veterans are lower. No, I said I didn't have time to go through every item....only suicide. Ever since then you have been bouncing back and forth, waving your hands in the air and stamping your feet rather than admit that you were wrong. No since then I've pointed out several ways that the study could be faulty. You pointed out that one of the possible faults isn't really a fault. I agreed with your counter point. You keep bringing up that point again, and again, after I've acknowledged it close to a half dozen times, and talked about acknowledging it several more times. Then you continue to ignore any other point about all the weaknesses in the study, which include weaknesses as basic and obvious as the math in their published results not working out. volokh.com No. The studies were very straight forward and contradicted your statement. Because you hate to be wrong, you moved the goal posts and then threw in a lot of minutia which is the way you confuse the issues so that no one really knows where the discussion is. And I am telling you that I refuse to play that game with you. Again, either admit you were wrong, or move along.
