Now here a basic thought: Considering the constitutional rule, that a US president must be 'natural born', how come that anybody can take the highest US office without having to present evidence (= birth certificate) of that to the congress?
In so many other much lower ranging situations are we required to produce a birth certificate, so to me as a foreigner, this seems very strange indeed.
