Reich's words - "these jobs not simply go to...." - title of the YouTube entry is "no "White Male Construction Workers".

Those are literal quotes from your link. Yeah, it's alarming if one believes the new version of what Reich said.

It's more alarming that what ACTUALLY happened was a clear misrepresentation of his words, IOW, a blatant LIE. That bugs some of us.

Oh please
he says he doesn't JUST want it to go to white male construction workers

The whole title to that piece is inflammatory and incorrect. I'm so sick of the beneficiaries of hundreds of years of discrimination whining because things are evening up now- and it's not like they are even yet anyway, women still make less! Imagine the pain when things are actually fair. Yes, it's very sad when your unfair privileges are taken away- boohoo, but my goodness, you had a couple hundred years- nice long run. And for over a hundred of it women couldn't even vote in the good old US of A and you got to have black slaves. I say to white men, try to savor your past triumphs- you had a good long run keeping minorities and women with their heads firmly planted beneath your heels, try to enjoy what you had. Nothing that fabulous lasts forever.

Oh, please grow up. He's quite clear that he's saying the jobs should not go exclusively to white male workers.

Talk about irresponsible nonsense. Fox News, in this instance, has gone well over whatever new boundaries they had created for journalistic responsibility. Shame on them.
