And on broadband -- hell, wireless broadband is proliferating and will be available nearly everywhere before they can build it out. And why is that a legitimate function of government anyway? You people are just so weak you can't take care of yourselves. Weak people who need someone to take care of them. Government will provide you with health care, food stamps, wages, or if no wages, unemployment compensation, retirement benefits, you name it. I am interested in your take in yesterdays iraqi election---not whether it was worth the cost or whether the surge is responsible,,,just how view where the US is in iraq now. My view is that regardless of how we got there and irrespective of cost, the iraqi election may turn out to be a great thing for the middle east in general and iraq in particular. Its good to know that the lives lost might not have died in vain.
