what about prison guard? They seem really powerful to me. Every reform matter gets rejected, remember the proposition that would reduce sentences for drug users, every politician was against it when the public pretty much accepts that we are locking up way too many people and drug USERS are the first group that should go.

Esp with the history of drug incarceration, with cocaine being introduced in the USA mainly BECAUSE a rogue pot dealer was incarcerated along with a columbian, you would think the criminal aspect of drug offenses would have been rethunk long before now.

teachers in CA make $60k, that's $80k annualized - as much as a degreed engineer, but they get a big fat retirement for life, too.

in essence, they make a lot more than a typical degreed engineer.

not a bad gig at unemployed tax payer expense, no?
