That's actually encouraging since my disk is bulging between L5 and L6. It ruptured about 7 yrs ago. I had to have a couple of shots of cortesone, but that was yrs ago. As time goes by, the pain is diminishing, and it is quite tolerable now. The doc said the disk eventually gets hard like leather. I can't imagine living with a broken vertebra. The pain must have been excruciating.

We've all got back problems evidentially...I had a large piece of my tailbone break off and a couple of discs were injured along with that, so he cleaned that up too..I don't know what all he did, but now I go to a neurologist at a pain management clinic for my back..

I opted out of any other back surgery..
