Interesting observation. The invention of burqa was to cover a womans beauty except for the man who had every right to adore a woman in the private life of matrimony. In practical experience, I've met many muslim women and seen beneath the burqa on occasion. Your suggestion is closer to reality on the ground. The fat old shriveled one's are far more likely to don the gown, getting religion at such a time as covering is more about concealing the bulges than veiling the beauty. Such is the nature of our world where irony, paradox, and human hypocrisy tends to rule the day.
