Either way.

Although it may be popular and trendy to disparage the intelligence of the American voter, as Peter's remark demonstrated, (& so it always has been for every Democracy that has ever existed... there are ALWAYS some snooty elites who are just sure that they are 'smarter' then the average citizen), I will not line up with the disparagers... for I happen to believe that the public gets think right a heck of a lot more often then the 'elites' give them credit for.
