i guess he doesn't check the polls or look at his emails

Sheesh, it's not the tools. Is this a bill that can credibly be defended as stimulus, or not? If it could be defended, you would hear every MSM outlet defending it - but even they are dubious. And the Democratic Congressmen would not even have needed a rotary phone to put out their message. They could just have answered reporters' questions.
