So democrats with the most carismic leader in modern times who got 69 million votes and McCain, the old man with cancer who picked Palin for VP got 60 million -and you take from that that Obama has a free reign to govern? Obama has the reality of a crashing economy. Likely no matter what Obama does, this mess will be with us for a long time. Bush owns the start of the recession, but democrats who are in charge of the stimulus plan own the recovery. Might not be fair - but when is politics ever fair? 5 million votes change out of a total of 130 million and the outcome next time is different.......That means if my math is right that if one person in 26 changes their vote the outcome is different. 1 in 26 and that's a mandate to move way left? steve
