Think medicine - you need to fix the cause of unemployment not the symptom - which is the bank issue.

The 'bank issue' is that assets (that are the collateral for their loans) are decreasing in value. The 'bank issue' is that they are smart enough not to make new loans against declining assets. The 'bank issue' is they don't want to lend money to companies that are likely to go out of business. They could have pristine balance sheets and they still won't loan money in this economy.

You have to fix the demand side.

but job creation via government spending will not work, never really has and that's the lesson you refuse to learn.

It worked in the 1930s.
