Best thing is to salvage the economy now and put the socialist campaign promises on the back burner. If he didn't want the pork, he should craft the bill, not let the porkers in Congress do it.

As I said before, it looks like the government is working the way it's supposed to, with (albeit ugly) compromise. The center seems to be winning. This is very unlike the Bush rubber stamp congress.

Watch carefully... what looks chaotic may produce the best result. We'll see.

One thing for sure is the Reps were the biggest porker congress in history, so the way this is unfolding seems like a huge improvement.

BOYNTON BEACH, Fla. – Elvis has left the vehicle. A man was arrested on more than 50 traffic citations — all in one day. Police said Elvis Alonzo Barrett, 46, fled from police trying to stop him for a traffic violation Thursday morning. Police said he ran through red lights, crashed into another car and a fence. Police said they found crack cocaine and a crack pipe in his car.

Barrett faces several charges, including fleeing and eluding and reckless driving.

He was also issued more than 50 traffic citations on charges including speeding, running red lights, and not wearing a seat belt.

Police said Barrett has a lengthy criminal history and his driver license was suspended.

A phone number listed for him was not in service Thursday night.

Can't expect a socialist, community organizer to suddenly make tough fiscally responsible decisions. He has no experience and so far looks like he's hiring wolves to guard the henhouse.

You should get to know your president better. If you did, you would know he doesn't have a problem making tough decisions.

You and Mulholland Drive with your BS. You still can't get over that your president did such a lousy job and made a mess of things.

Well, stop with the non constructive negativity......it does no one any good.
