I enjoy having a more sensitive sense of smell, though I'm not sure it is quite as acute as yours. I smell many things that are missed by many, and sometimes it leads directly to something malfunctioning. I get to feeling like Tarzan or something with his acute sense of smell. All my animals have their own scent. People do too, but if I dwell on that area too much, it becomes overwhelming.
My sense of smell became much more acute when I started doing Prana breathing. I would, and still do, breathe the sunlight as if I can perceive its scent. The Agni Yoga teaching claims you don't receive the benefit of Prana, ( or what they call the Fires of Space), unless you specifically address its presence in each breath. How better to address it than to search for it's scent? Every star has its own signature according to radio spectroscopy, so perhaps, there is something still in the energy which can be perceived by our noses.

How about restaurants who have exterminators in. They spray around the flooring near wall paneling. Sue always sits on the outside but there were many times she became ill after eating at a restaurant. We always looked at the food. Not the
insecticide.
