All in all, I think future generations of Americans will be looking at a lower standard of living.

I have no disagreement on that. But at the same time, you like me, I am sure, have faith in the indomitable spirit of the American where, given the chance they can and will rally to return to the next generation, the same world they inherited from the previous generation.
