The patient isn't requiring you to pay in the same way that the banksters aren't requiring you to pay the trillions in debt coming down the pike... I guess it will all magically resolve itself one way or another...

True if they didn't have the condition there would be no treatment and thus nothing to pay for, but they aren't holding a gun to your head, even in an indirect and/or non-literal way.

I disagree. If they show up at a hospital knowing they can't pay and recognizing they can get away with not paying, then they are holding the rest of us up. The only way not to do that is to not go to the hospital.
