What state do you live in?

Many states (probably NY most of all, but its not the only one) jack up cost for insurance through mandated coverage and other regulations.

If people where allowed to buy insurance from companies operating in other states and under those other states regulations, than insurance costs would go down both from being able to avoid the most expensive regulations, and more generally from increased competition.
