You know any branch of scientific study can be applied to nefarious ends. For instance, take the area of psychiatry... The CIA in the 50's did studies on unwitting psychiatric patients in a University of McGill Hospital on white noise/sensory deprivation. The knowledge gained from those illegal and highly immoral studies was applied in recent torture regimes sanctioned by Bush II (AKA Chimperor Disgustus). Now I'm sure that most Psychiatrists would not want their science to be applied in perfecting torture techniques. But the Chimp Regime decided in going that direction. Let me cite another example, nuclear physics and the science of fission. There the scientific developments by the Oppenheimer team in the Manhatten project. We all know the results of application of said technology in the bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki (no doubt you believe the propaganda that the bomb ended the war earlier than it would've otherwise). Now I'm sure, that your deep fundamentalist religious beliefs are clouding your views of Darwin's work and the fact of Evolution. I mean you actually believe the stories in the Old Testiment?????? Even the Catholic Church acknowledges that the Earth is a sphere, that Evolution is a fact, that the Earth orbits the Sun (not vise versa) etc., etc.. You should come out of the Dark Ages, sonny.
