When CNBC loved to tell the public that they were the most sophisticated investors in history? Sure, every arsehole who threw the kid's college money into LTBH'ing CMRC and Pet.com was the smartest money manager in history. I like to think about this sometimes. Only now the public is beginning to understand how rough Big Bears can be. Regrettably, historically, members of the public who end up figuring out what markets are all about end up for the most part staying the phuck away from the markets for the rest of their lives.... lol/ng
