... and now that HOD/HOU have rolled over 100% into the April contract, the March contract rockets back up, currently up almost $4/bbl.
They certainly do influence the market in a big way!

Sure wish I had understood this rollover procedure before holding these things overnight this week.
They have been a great daytrade for a month but I wiped out all 2009 HOU/HOD gains (and more) in just the past two days. :-(

I will continue to daytrade these ETFs but will be sure to sell out 100% and accept a small daily loss if I have to, come the 8th day of each month. Better that than a massive loss.
I do understand that it is a bit of a casino.

I'll be content to just watch the rollover take place and sit on the side lines in future.
