Lots of research toward (non-nuclear) alternative energy as well.

What's your point? If you think non-nuclear alternative energy needs a shot in the arm, then please provide actual numbers.

Just going by the "stimulus" bill itself (and assuming we should even be funding any research in a bill that's labeled as "stimulus"), I see zero dollars for nuclear and billions of dollars for the environmentalists' wet dreams.

Obama said that nuclear ought to be part of the mix, but apparently it's not part of THIS mix.
