Then why do you think you have the right to decide what a woman can do with her body????

Right is determined from more than one perspective. There are legal rights and then there are matters of right and wrong which are measured by what is for the best.

1) The question of legal right can be argued and decided judicially by the government authorities tasked with that role. But a decision in such hands is subject to further review and appeal so the basis of the decision is never a hard fact. Even the basis of killing has changed legally from non-murderous to murderous upon further review, like the Holocaust killing of Jews in Nazi Germani.

2) The question of what is for the best must be qualified:
*Best for who or what? Who decides the object of best?
*Once the object or personage of 'best interests' is determined, what constitutes 'best interest?'
*Then we must determine the guardian of best interests? Self, parent, medical official, religious authority, community, society, some principle of humanity, dogma, tradition, law, Judge, higher law, individual circumstance, some combination there of?

Brumar has the right to form a perspective on the issue and make his own mind up (decide) wrt the issue. Who are you to suggest he should not?

An unborn child isn't part of the mothers body.

IYO is it okay for a pregnant woman to abuse alcohol and drugs as much as she wants? After all its her body.
