Aaron, re: Please correct me if I'm wrong, but it seems to me that the delayed opening of the Fort Worth fab is a blessing in disguise for Intel.

I agree 100%. Let me add:

a. High tech workers are a bit easier to find in Israel compared to the US. (less expensive).

b. Fortunately Intel is recognizing the decline in the logic chips, and is switching before a 'problem' manifested itself.

c. As someone (you?) stated, the delay could contribute to additional margin dollars in the short run.

d. My concern (not major) is with the Israel opening is whether there be adequate water supplies?

Delaying the Fab (#16) due to poor market conditions for Flash (or any other reason) cannnot be good news. It means that one business segment has deteriorated significantly.

I repeat - this is not good news.
