You think in only black and white.

People do all kinds of stupid things including raising their kids as Republicans and teaching them ID and other such extremist ideologies. That does more harm than the occasional glass of wine does to a fetus.

It is good to do research into the effects of food and drink and drugs and exercise and toxic fumes and hormones in meat on the developing fetus. It is good to provide people education so they can take the care they need.

If a pregnant woman is 'caught' drinking at a restaurant, are you and your busy body freaks going to call the cops on her? I suspect you would.

Why do you think freedom is only for markets and not for people?

I will ask you again, why do you want to lock up pregnant women in prison?

hey Brumar, say you have a parent and a 5 year old child and the 5 year old child needs a bone marrow transplant and the parent refuses to give it (dead beat dad or whatever) and the child dies. Are you aware of the fact that due to the basic human rights we live by in the USA that there will be no punishment for that parent whatsoever, save perhaps a child neglect fine of some sort (and even then, it isn't likely if the parent objects to the bone marrow transplant on philosophical grounds, or if the issue is financial).

The culprit for this stems from something called the bill of rights and the US constitution, interpreted by a body called the US supreme court. Ever heard of it?

What you are proposing in your ignorant stupor (although obviously you are too stupid to realize it), is violating one persons basic rights (the parent) for the rights of another, even though that "other" isn't even a person, it is a fetus.
