The overwhelming majority of the things he has done, especially the executive orders have been perfect.

Yeah. 9/11 didn't happen. It was your imagination.

The future is unknown, but if, as many projected, the US was heading into at least a mini-depression, then to not act would be criminal.

To "act"? WTF is that? The truth is there is no evidence that spending a trillion dollars will do ANYTHING about the recession (no evidence of anything approaching a depression).

You're obviously still confused about what this legislation was. It had nothing to do with the economy -- that was just the excuse. This was Phase I of Obama's Socialization of America.

The other thing is if the Republicans were in charge they would be doing virtually the same thing and you would be hailing the masterful stroke of policy genius.

Bush did essentially the same thing, although it was at least a legitimate effort to stimulate the economy and not an attempt at socialization. And I sure as hell wasn't hailing it as anything but a taxpayer ripoff.

As I recall, you supported it. Not me. I don't believe in this Pooling of Interests known as socialism.

if there was a good but not conclusive evidence that there might be a terrorist attack in the US would you question expensive counter-measures? In both cases you can't wait for 100% proof because that 100% proof is the devastation.

A problem with that analogy is that we don't that a stimulus bill can increase economic problems, while defenses against terrorism are rather unlikely to make a terrorist attack much more successful.
