Deficit spending is any spending the feds do these days. It will create jobs and offset the huge loss of jobs occurring at the present time.

The legislation that just passed is not going to create many jobs; certainly not for the first year or two. How many jobs does it create to build a (pork) rail line from LA to Vegas?

Or whatever.

Not many. Not for a while.

Mostly, what happens in the first couple years is handouts. And these don't do crap.
