Gretta also said that she has someone email her that said "President Obama should have signed the entire stimulus bill over to the Department of Ag because evidently Obama doesn't know that Money Doesn't Grow On Trees"....

It surely doesn't set a good example. It's like do as I say, not as I do. I think it certainly would have been more desirable for him to sign the plan in the Rose Garden of the White House. A more important memorial event, I'd say if one could call it that.

I just think they are both enamored by the perks available to them and not thinking about the expenses they are both incurring as neither has ever had those available to them before. Just like kids are with new toys. But all democrats can only think of is how to spend, spend, and spend more. Couldn't expect anything different from any of them. I also think we will see lots of money being spent on them entertaining in the White House.

Good for Gretta, I don't usually watch her, but just may start. I have heard she is a strong woman and has the guts to ask the hard questions and being a lawyer she is not intimidated by any. My oldest daughter watches her and comments to me about some of the things she says. I just hope someone reports her remarks to Obama and Biden and I trust they will.

At least they could have shared a ride.

I think Obama likes Air Force One a little too much. He's spending all his time in it.

She questioned what it cost Obama to fly to Denver on Air Force One to sign the Porkulous bill, and also pointed out that Biden also flew in on Air Force Two.

It isn't just "two huge aircraft" that goes where the president goes. I watched "Air Force One" for the second time the other night. In addition to the two identical 747's that are Air Force One when the president is aboard, the second one always makes the trip...anywhere, as a just in case scenario. Also, an entire entourage of aircraft go on ahead to fly two Marine One type helicopters to the destination, as well as another huge C-3 (or similar type) to haul limousines, then there's the platoons of secret service and maintenance folks that need to be along. All in all a presidential trip involves some half dozen huge aircraft and well over 150 or 200 tag-along personnel. No wonder HE is getting his kicks with this unique, expensive toy.
