You still have too narrow of focus, far too narrow.

You want to shift the blame to someone other than who was in charge, but the people in charge are the ones who must stand up. Anything else is chicken sh*t. To blame, bankers or auditors or mortgage lenders is nothing but looking at the situation with blinders on BECAUSE the ones in charge are the only ones who could have controlled the excesses and evils of all the players.
