I strongly disagree. The market is the market. Even a market with much tighter lending than before is still a market. Even a market that has become overly dependent on easy credit is still a market.

The market will correct itself. Government can play a role in easing the correction, but government is not the source of the correction any more than it is the source of jobs or prosperity.
