Probably more than what most people want to tolerate, but given the low tolerance of the voting public for anything these days, that's not saying much.

And yes, I know the history of the Great Depression. I know less about the Long Depression of the late 19th century, but hardly anyone these days is bringing that up as a possibility. Even Wiki mentions debate among historians regarding how to characterize that period.

Heck, there's even debate over whether FDR's New Deal was too little, or whether it prolonged the Great Depression.
