and its not a 50 billion dollar loss either because much less than 50billion invested. More like 10-15. Rest is fake profits. Govt says they will go after all monies retd to investors above their invesments paid in. That means the folks who were in early and cashed out lets say last year with a 4 bagger over the years now owe 3 back to the last in ponzi folks. This is going to be in the courts for years. good news is that sipc is covering losses as if it were real investment.

Obama is certainly pushing that. It is smart, too. Because they will close ranks around him and Rush annoys enough people that it will drive the party even deeper into marginalization.

Rush has become a demi-God... untouchable on the right. Even the politicos on the right admit it. He's saying "I told you so" wrt McCain and centerist candidates, and they are buying it. They are shrinking the party by the minute. My fear is that we will swing too far left now.... which of course is typical.

Did you see where the trustee in charge of Madoff's assets says he cannot find any trace of Madoff ever buying any securities for clients? Here I was willing to give him the benefit of the doubt and thought he resorted to the Ponzi scheme to get past some tough times. But, it looks like it was a scam from the get go.

Amazing nobody caught on.... amazing.

You're kidding. He just played with as in reallocated their money? There are more going down besides Madoff......at a minimum his wife and sons had to know that it was all BS.
