G's price is not a factor of 4th quarter results but the overall markets dropping Friday taking everything with it. Gold is up 16% this year, silver up 28% and just as I predicted, over and over, 6 months ago, the stocks wouldn't do so well compared to the metals themselves. Those in physical have done better and are far safer than those who still think they will outsmart the markets and play the same old game.

Disclaimer..I own some gold and silver stocks

trx.v - '400 lbs of copper for each oz of gold' - thanks for that tyc, it's an easy way to remember the proportions ... with copper at 3.50 and gold 800 MtM was a copper mine, now at 1.50Cu and 1000Au it's a gold mine with copper credits, funny how that changes ... Ms Market is always hesitant with an impure play, also with developers in a market like this, i appreciate very much her attitude as it makes things like this cheap for the time being ... it's true for ngd.to to considerable degree as well imho, as so much of their upside is copper-based, nothing of it priced in at the moment

Forestry is so absolutely dead in the Interior, the pine beetle has made for a future with much less wood and the derivatives bozos have made for a market with much less demand ... in other circumstances, getting permitted for mining in BC would be difficult, but they'll be begging Terrane/Goldcorp to go ahead with this project, throwing in a few incentives to get on with it too, no doubt
