One of the most important economic issues in modern times...can't deploy widely because of capacity and cost and the same issues are preventing cost reductions. If you could just find a 5% annual incremental improvement for 10 years solar would be 'cheap energy'. Storage still an issue... but there is no 100% solution you will still need some sort of centralized power generation. At least until you have a super smart, super efficient grid.
