VP I don't believe the Swiss plan to sell any gold. If you were sitting on a commodity weak in price, would you announce to the world your intention to sell?? The Australians did not do that! If there is truth the the rumor that the Swiss intend to sell AU, I believe the opposite... that they will drive the price down to ridiculous levels, then change their mind and buy the gilt.... with no guilt. Timing was quite a propos , think about it.... day after major currency turmoil. No sir.... The Swiss, if they have any brains at all... will be laughing all the way to the bank vault... with bars, not paper. (eom)
