"I'm surprised PBG has not scooped more oil sands land"

I believe JW said they had enough oil sands holdings, they wanted to focus on the various agreements - JV's, licences, etc. for THAI.

PBG's business model is based on JV through Archon Technologies to use the process....share the revenues and resource. So far they have three deals signed....Dawson/Peace River, Sutton Creek and Kerrobert/Saskatchewan projects...summarized on the Feb presentation slides put up last week on petrobank.com

They have major heavy oil holdings in Colombia and True Energy/Peru....I doubt they'll be putting any new money in Alberta Province given the Stelmach factor.

And we have to get the price of crude back up before anybody moves forward. OPEC seems committed to making that happen, recession or not.
