I was on an early morning flight out of Seattle that flew over Mt. St. Helens. The sunlight angle was low, which helped to show how much of the mountain was blown away. Quite a dramatic sight.

If in that area, I'd like to visit Mt. St. Helens.

It is very interesting there. I see Mt. St. Helens all the time from the house and from the road. Rainier too.

I have never been up to the summit. I read somewhere that they closed the interpretive center.
