There is a large immigrant group of iranian jews in the US as well. Parsons says they have triple loyalty though. The roger cohen article in NYT today very telling. Iranians love americans and could care less if one is a christian or a jew. By the way 60 minutes had a very positive story on basra last night.. Very ironic is that we might end up "winning in iraq" while losing in the war, everyone says they are for in afganistan. Oh by the way, looks like pakistanis are getting US special forces training and obama has been more aggressive than bush in pakistan going after al queada and the taliban. Hard headed realists in control now. Each of us might disagree with this or that aspect of policy, but again this admin has plenty grey matter and hopefully their batting average will be good.
