I'm just astounded that Chris Matthews called President Obama "Barney Fife" on the air.

Are you sure that wasn't a reference to Geithner as he was the last person mentioned prior to the Fife comment?

I think you're right, I read the transcript too quickly. But still! to have his hand picked "indispensible man" who could cheat on his taxes with impunity become Barney Fife inside a week, that is not good. Who is Obama now, Andy Griffith?
