Can you cite a legal precedent for that specific act being upheld as a war crime?

For comparison, after WWII the United States was instrumental in convicting a number of Japanese at various levels of authority of war crimes for, among other things, employing water torture techniques against war prisoners.

The use of such methods under the authority of our government during the past 8 years has already been acknowledged as fact. We all observed the pathetic public spectacle of that crypto-Nazi sh1tbag Cheney supporting and defending such practices.

The sick and sad moral depravity that characterized the Bush administration and its members isn't just an ugly expression of the corrupt and decayed culture these individuals represent, it resulted in actions against the law, matters of fact that crossed established legal thresholds. It is good there is no statute of limitations for such acts, we can only hope members of the junta are hounded to their deaths for their offenses against humanity.
